What rate this uses
This converter uses the European Central Bank's euro reference rates. The ECB publishes them once each business day, around 4 p.m. Central European Time, and not on weekends or European holidays. That's why the reference rate date can be a day or more before today. Rates between two non-euro currencies, like pesos and dollars, are calculated from the euro rates.
The rate you'll actually get
A reference rate is a benchmark, not a price anyone will sell you money at. Banks, ATMs, card networks, Wise, Xoom and exchange houses (casas de cambio) each set their own rates and fees, which differ from the reference rate. Use this to check whether an offer is reasonable, then compare the final amount you'd receive.
